About Pimmi

Pimmi Pande’s work explores authenticity, self-acceptance, visibility and belonging.

Through coaching, retreats, courses and creative projects, she supports people to understand who they are more deeply, release the pressure to perform, and show up with greater honesty in their personal and professional lives.

Her approach brings together communication, identity work, personal transformation, public presence and a deep interest in what allows people to become more fully themselves.

The thread beneath the work

Pimmi’s work is shaped by a lifelong interest in visibility, belonging and the ways people learn to edit themselves in order to be accepted.

Growing up as a British-Indian in 1970s and 1980s London under challenging circumstances, she became deeply aware of social dynamics, restraint and the pressure many people feel to regulate themselves in order to belong.

This early awareness became one of the foundations of her work: helping people notice where they have learned to hide, over-adapt, silence themselves or perform a version of themselves that no longer feels true.

From documentary to presence

Pimmi’s early career was in documentary filmmaking and independent journalism. She also worked on-set on her filmmaker father’s television and feature films with acting professionals, and conducted long-form interviews with globally recognised figures, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Those environments refined her understanding of presence, psychological subtext, emotional truth and what allows people to become more fully themselves in front of others.

Over time, this evolved into her work with voice, visibility, public speaking, identity and self-acceptance.

Today, her personal work explores authenticity, Radical Self Acceptance and the courage to be seen without performance.

Coaching, retreats and creative work

At PimmiPande.com, her work takes the form of private coaching, speaking and visibility intensives, courses, retreats and creative projects.

Whether someone is navigating change, preparing to speak more publicly, emerging from a period of self-doubt, or seeking a deeper relationship with who they are, the work returns to one central question:

Who are you when you are no longer performing for acceptance?

Ascent Leaders

Pimmi is also the founder of Ascent Leaders, a leadership advisory supporting senior leaders and organisations with executive communication, authority and high-stakes decision-making.

While Ascent Leaders serves corporate and institutional contexts, PimmiPande.com is the personal home of her work on authenticity, Radical Self Acceptance, visibility, belonging and creative expression.

The contexts are different, but the thread is shared: people communicate most powerfully when they are grounded in who they are.

Work With Pimmi

What was once my struggle contained the gifts I get to pass on.

This is my story...

I always had this feeling that there had to be more to this life experience. I felt I could surely do more and be more. But for a long time, I didn't know how to harness my life to make it happen.

I grew up in 1970s/80s London, as a British-Indian, at a time when racial tensions were quite high. My experiences shaped what I felt about myself and my capabilities. I was once unconfident about putting myself out there, speaking my ideas and just being visible. What I preferred was to blend in with the surrounding culture. At the same time, I felt limited by staying small. I wasn't reaching where I wanted to be. I wasn't being me.

Eventually I followed my father into filmmaking, made documentary films and became an independent journalist. I got to interview some wonderful personalities, enjoyed some great successes, including an unforgettable experience meeting and interviewing The Dalai Lama.

Yet still, I lacked self acceptance and purpose. I later came to realise this was a symptom of having learnt not to stand out because doing so might lead to negative attention. This helped when I was younger, but not now. It turned out to be a belief that many of my subsequent clients also related to. When I learnt to overcome this fear, I realised I am here to enable others to lead more fulfilling lives by igniting their inner light so they can shine bright.

For over 12 years now, I have been helping people channel a higher source of untapped potential, using specific energetic enhancing techniques, into professional lives that had otherwise hit an impasse. This is largely due to them not being able to speak confidently and avoiding visibility. They go from feeling silenced and believing they don't have much to say, being afraid to share their ideas, to discovering the brilliant communicator within and leading with authentic, heart connected voices. They become self believing, autonomous thinkers, who are confidently visible, transforming their careers and inspiring others with their words and vision.

The shift for me in my coaching journey, that then allowed my clients to achieve these breakthroughs, was in practising a surrendering method to the struggles of the past and letting them naturally work their way through my system. This, I later understood to be known as the core of the Letting Go Technique described in the writings of Dr. David Hawkins, which I practise daily and I now believe to be one of the secrets to true life fulfilment, happiness and success.

I have found that when people let go of their stories of struggle, the hidden gifts of negative experiences emerge. I help people embrace what has happened to them and reframe their experience as that which occurred both for them and is largely part of their divinely chosen life experience.

I now spend my time helping people carve out a stronger, visible place in their professional worlds, beginning with owning their voices; guiding them towards embracing their expertise and their life purpose.
